About Us

Hillside Nursery Centre is a family run garden centre based in the heart of Newtownabbey.

Since opening in 1921 when we specialised in tomatoes and cut flowers, we have grown steadily into one of the country’s largest Garden Centres. In 2006 we completed a major redevelopment which included a new shop and a Coffee Shop and in 2012 we welcomed Maidenhead Aquatics to our premises. Hillside is now moving forward in the hands of the fourth generation of the family and looking forward to further expansion.
